Marvel Digital Comics
I'm curious if anyone here is a subscriber and or what your thoughts are on it. I've heard a lot of negative things over the years (incomplete arcs and isnt that up to date) but I'd like to get a feel of what CM thinks. Just how much is actually offered? how up to date is it? Do they have some of the more obscure titles? Looking over their site doesnt really give me the kind of detail I'd like to know. Please share your experience, thoughts, likes and dislikes.
Thanks
Wish DC offered something similar...

Finding the complete list of offereings is not as simple as it should be. From the main page, Click on the tab 'What's in the Collection', then 'See For Yourself'. Scroll down to the list of all titles.

Is too old for jello shots!

I'm a subscriber and I have to say at first I really enjoyed it as I had not been in to comics before and it gave me a chance to read tons of old comics but I don't love how the arcs are incomplete and it definitely is not up to date.

I have to say, it kind of surprises me unless they (now) don't want to cut into their trade market. Once a comic is printed and paid for by the dealer, Marvel's work is done and they'll never see another dime off that book unless it's collected.
Even so, there's tons and tons of stuff they've done that will never be collected if it already hasn't been.

I went ahead and subscribed for a month. Looked through and there is definitely a lot there for me to work through...
One of the first things I checked though was their run on Runaways... 1-26 and 30.... I am never going to read 27-29 am I? *sigh*
I do wish they were a little more complete and a lot more up to date...
Some of the exclusive titles are nice. Glad to have Spider-Girl back!
Definitely going to keep me busy for a month, we'll see how it goes after that. I dont understand why there arent more in the offering... Subscription model I think would give them a lot more money from those who care nothing about collecting... One of the reasons I dont buy comics now is space limitations. Digital comics are perfect for me.
