New The Le Games Banners (dtrpg 01)
Well, I put up my first set of banners on DrivethruRpg. Unfortunately for them, they let me use far bigger images than enworld does. Needless to say, I took full advantage of this...
I must say that I am quite proud of myself this time. I had forgotten how fun it is to make banners -- I might have to spend some money and buy banner space on Enworld again (I'm about due for another flame thread)...
Thoughts?

The Pirate Booty girl's expression makes her look like she's getting something in the booty right now; naturally, I have no choice but to approve!

Thanks for all the comments thus far. What can I say? It's a gift... and a curse.
As for Neo Monks: The Dragonlord, I really enjoyed writing that book, but the single-class book doesn't sell too well I am afraid. I'm either overpricing it, or people just aren't interested. So, I have refocused and started a new line of books, as a medium between NEO and UNORTHODOX.
The first book is available now:
I can see the advertisement banner now -- an image of a woman half dressed with the words "Pimp My Paladin - Was It Good for You?"

I've always liked your work. I've also always wanted to get to know your banner models. I see a possibility for us to both win in this...

They're very entertaining... but I wonder: Why did you choose a Christmas-y looking chick for the "Pirate Booty" banner?

You're trying to find meaning or content in a TheLe ad. That's like trying to find a mouth with a full set of teeth in a trailer park.

So, you have no problems with an image of a modern, sexy, drunk girl selling a book about pirate magic items in a fantasy rpg setting, but the fact that she is in christmas gear is a concern?

Fuckin' A! The original "TheLe's banner ads are offensive!" thread was a classic exposition of people freaking out over something that really isn't that big of a deal. Unfortunately, it was lost when EN World's servers crashed last year. A similar thread would really inject some life back into EN World.

It's NOT a "concern." I was just curious as to the choice. I figured that, if you were advertising a pirate product, you'd have a hot pirate chick in the ad. As such, the ad left me somewhat confused.

Ah. Well, finding the a female pirate is nearly impossible with the resources I use. When I came across the x-mas chick, I thought "hmmm, this will work".
Yes, my decisions are usually pretty arbitrary.
Besides, God forbid that I make a banner that reflects the true product...!

you just have to search deeper...The Christmas lady would have presents from her many male admirers. Christmas presents is just another way of saying Christmas booty and if there is booty laying around some pirate is eventually going to come around an take it. So it really is about pirates.
