Intricate knot style tattoos wrapped around his forearms. 5 ft. 10 inches, 275 lbs., 25 years old.
Personality: Tends to feel guilty due to a slightly criminal past (trespass, petty larceny, vandalism). Intelligent and curious, but insecure due to his overly bestial appearance.
Background A former petty thief and cat burglar (street urchin a la the Artful Dodger in Oliver Twist) forced into government service, Gripir has since come around to seeing things from the other point of view. He found that his skills made him an excellent fit for the Chief Judge's special ministry, and he sees this job as an opportunity to redeem himself in the eyes of the law. He tends not to talk about his past much, although this is more due to embarrassment than anything else. His formerly criminal proclivities are well-known among his peers. He's also hoping that he might have a chance to see his family again, who he hasn't seen since before he ran away as a lad. He knows that they know about his old haunts and habits, and he's hoping that any future encounters with them will be improved by his current standing, although given that his family's none too fond of the Chief Judge's rule, he may not be in any better straits.
