Hell yes! Any game that can blend trailer parks and the depth of meticulous preparation and GMing that Fus brings to the (gaming) table has no hope of not being fun. The booze just ices the (urinal) cake.

Boy has a soccer game that Saturday, so I'd have to find someone to not only take care of the kids for the weekend, but also take Jake to his soccer game (which I'd feel guilty about both of us missing). Plus, I'd need to find new interesting places to explore since I don't do the gaming thing.

It's official. Wife and I will be in the Big Apple on this weekend. My loss (on the gaming side of things at least). Looks like it's developing into a barnburner.
You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.

The official thread at ENWorld is now up. You can find it here:
http://www.enworld.org/forum/general...ml#post5457656
It includes a link to the NCGD forum here:
http://www.enworld.org/forum/north-carolina-game-day/
I'm fine if people want to discuss what they desire to run and/or play here in this thread or start a new one at CM (I couldn't stop you if I wanted to). But it would help keep the ENWorld thread bumped and visible if some of that discussion takes place there in the thread in General too.
I've stated my intentions there to run Old School Hack and Fiasco and I'm strongly considering running a new Sky Galleons of Mars game if I can find some inspiration for a plot. My brain is being pulled in a dozen different directions by various other life stuff as well as gaming stuff so that may be a challenge. We'll see how that goes.

fusangite, just a quick question. Is Trailer Park Boys a drinking game? If so, you won't be able to run it at the Game Day locations during the day since alcohol is not allowed either at NC State or the local game store, All Fun & Games. You should be able to run it at night in someone's hotel room, though, or maybe at a local's house?
Just an FYI.
It'll be awesome hanging out with you again, BTW!!

As mentioned previously, my basement might be an option so long as things remain within the realm of sanity. Also you might want to shoot for doing this on Sunday night rather than Saturday because Saturday is when the big party at my house will be taking place and that's our big chance to kick back and chat and be social. Unless you're going to have the game REALLY late that night, in which case you had all better make sure you get your asses to your respective games on time on Sunday or I'll sic Alenda and her Wagging Finger of Libraryness +2 on you.
In other news that does not pertain to fusangite, I've made the hotel arrangements for the Best Western!

The block of rooms is under the name NC Game Day or you can give them my name, Scott Moore. The block is reserved from Friday April 1st to Sunday April 3rd but if you need to modify that to suit your needs then that's fine. There is no requirement that you stay all three nights. There are both King and Double rooms available. Just ask for whichever you prefer.
The rate is $59.99 per night ($68.24 with tax) and they are ONLY HOLDING THE ROOMS UNTIL MARCH 18th. If you don't make your reservation prior to that then there is no guarantee that you get a room in the block.
We have also secured the Meeting Room for free on Friday night provided that you all book at least 10 room nights total. So get those reservations in and help us lock down that space!
That leads me to mention the general schedule of the NCGD for those new or who just want a reminder:
Friday Night - Meet & Greet at the Best Western until around 11:00 PM.
Saturday - At NC State Student Center: Morning Slot 9:00AM-1:00 PM, Afternoon Slot 2:00 PM -6:00 PM, Party at Rel'ls House 6:30 PM until Whenever.
Sunday - At All Fun & Games: Morning Slot 9:00AM-1:00 PM, Afternoon Slot 2:00 PM -6:00 PM, dinner out someplace we'll decide later.
Some of you may recall us having had a slightly more relaxed schedule last year with later starts and longer lunch breaks. Unfortunately we're limited as to when our venues are available this year so we're having to stick with the 9AM starts and only an hour for lunch. On Sunday there are some nearby fast food places as well as a grocery story that will make for easy lunching, even with only an hour window. It's a bit trickier on Saturday with the parking situation at NCSU and trying to get to lunch and back in an hour. I'd humbly suggest that you might be better off to order a pizza up to the room where we're gaming (I can probably get you some info on that in advance) or else brown bag it.

Thanks for the scheduling reminder. Sunday is indeed the night for TPB. I'm very much looking forward to festivities Saturday night.
