    What to do with yourself when you are on a coffee bender.

    That actually is pretty. Back in the day, they did that all the time. I believe. Flour was packaged in cotton bags, so women would use them to make clothing. The producers caught on and started packaging their stuff in patterned bags. Pretty fascinating and very pretty!

    Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

    I is before E except after C, then it's chaos man, mass chaos! Letters coming together into words, but then you go English and they put U's in places that just shouldn't go there... AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

    My sanity left town along time ago and didn't leave a forwarding address. It's not missed.

    It helps that the young creator is pretty, also. I think the flour sacks would be more comfortable. The idea of rubbing up against cut CD fragments as you stroll around isn't very appealing. Thanks for that link, as I'd never seen the patterns or examples of those clothes before. My grandmother had spoken of these but I never had the opportunity to view them. Now the flour is in paper sacks. I always freeze flour to kill any potential weevils.

    Huh. We always baked it. Different directions, same goal.
    I wouldn't even censor you.

    Around here, people repurpose feed sacks to make tote bags, mainly. We save ours to reuse as trash bags and also to cut open for putting down on the butchering table to keep mess to the minimum on butchering days.

    I wouldn't want to wear that, though. It's pretty plasticky, stiff and wouldn't breathe for squat.

    I've always wanted to find a vintage flour sack or something made from one (since I think they're neat), but haven't gotten that lucky yet.
    News I bring;
    Bells the stag, winter snow
    Summer is past
    Wind high and cold
    Low the sun, short its course
    Seas run strong;
    The russet bracken its shape is lost
    Wild goose raises wanton cry
    Cold lays hold on wings of bird
    Time of ice
    This I heard.
