I hope you pronounced that correctly.

    I'll guess Richard Pryor.

It's probably someone American I've barely heard of, so I'll guess someone British you've never heard of - Rufus Hound.

Because then he would be Zoltan Hound (of Dracula). Which would be excellent, though he'd probably change it as soon as he got old enough (like Zowie Bowie).

Correct (about the answer; not necessarily the "evil" thing)!

Comedian-illusionist Penn Jillette. He named his son, born in 2006, Zolten, noting that “it’s my wife [Emily’s] maiden name and most importantly, it’s the name of Dracula’s dog.” Their first child, a daughter, was named Moxie CrimeFighter.

More proof that some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids. Or at least name them.

Well comparing it to Moxie Crimefighter it not as evil. But come on kids have to go to school with these names. If he wanted to use his wife last name he could have used Zoltan as a middle name.

Just to clarify Zowie Bowie was never his real name. His birth certificate read Duncan Haywad Zowie Jones. David Bowie is his stage name not his legal name.

Well, Bowie can be forgiven. Geldof (Fifi Trixabelle, Peaches and Pixie), Zappa (Moon Unit, Dweezil, Ahmet Emuukha Rodan and Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen) and Penn Jilette are not.

At least they won't ever get confused with anyone else, unlike the half dozen Justins that I know.

What a douche. At least Zolten sounds like it reasonably could be a real name, like some kind of old Eastern European family name.
J: Yea, well... cinnamon thinks everything is funny.
    cinn: hahaha!

cinn: I'm officially sick of being in the car.
GL: Ok, well let's play I Spy.
cinn: Ok! I spy.... A HAWK!
    GL: ...
GL: Man, you SUCK at I Spy.
cinn: Well I had to do it fast! It was flying away!

While that may true, my son had seven Micheal's in his kindergarten class, I don't think the benefit of not having anyone else name outweighs the teasing from other kids.

It is (though more usually as Zoltan) a relatively common forename in Turkey, Hungary and the Balkans. It's essentially the same word as "Sultan".

And there is indeed a cheesy 70s horror movie called "Zoltan, Hound of Dracula".

For Moxie CrimeFighter there is, however, no excuse.

Well, in case she decides to go into law enforcement, she can always say "Crimefighter is my middle name!"
