It's so much nicer when Kzach is on ignore.
Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

I is before E except after C, then it's chaos man, mass chaos! Letters coming together into words, but then you go English and they put U's in places that just shouldn't go there... AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

My sanity left town along time ago and didn't leave a forwarding address. It's not missed.

Doesn't change the fact that you're stupid.

Yesterday I used the Mage Hand cantrip to hold a shrunken boulder over a fire giant's head. I dismissed the shrink effect and dropped it on his head.

55 points is now the most damage I've done with a cantrip.

Pfft, as if a 120-lb. rock falling 10-ft. would cause 55 points of damage.

    2d6 at most.

It's a specific boulder in Storm King's Thunder wherein it specifically mentions doing 55 points of damage if dropped on someone (or 10d10). Don't you have the book?

I think it's a trick that wouldn't have worked in 3.5 - the cantrip specifically affects a non-magical object, and I think your shrunken boulder probably qualifies as magical while enjoying the Shrink effect - but the 5E spell appears to have abolished that limitation.

I picked up Arion Games' Stellar Adventures on a whim the other night. So far, I'm really digging it. It's Advanced Fighting Fantasy applied to sci-fi/space opera. The system is pretty light, although there is a lot of dice rolling to determine damage done and damage absorbed, a carry over from AFF, but it's pretty full on options. I've been looking for a light, but not too light sci-fi game and while I still prefer Savage Worlds (my group isn't as enamored as I am), Stellar Adventures has me intrigued. I now want to check out AFF 2E to see if there's anything I can carry over from the fantasy game...

Mage Hand has a weight limit of 15-lbs. dumbass.

So either you shrunk a 120-lbs. boulder using Enlarge/Reduce to 1/8th of its weight, thus being 15-lbs. and roughly 1 to 2-ft. in diameter depending on composition, from 30 feet up (the distance limit from you of mage hand) on top of an 18 ft. tall fire giant's head, thus falling roughly 10 ft. by ceasing to concentrate on the Enlarge/Reduce spell which would in turn destroy the mage hand by turning it back into a 120-lb. boulder that would then fall that distance and barely get to around 1500 joules, or:

A creature can use an action to shrink the stone to the size of a 6-inch-diameter orb weighing 25 pounds, or enlarge the boulder to its normal size (15-foot diameter) and weight (12 tons). Anything the enlarged boulder falls on takes 55 (10d10) bludgeoning damage. A creature can avoid taking this damage by tumbling out of the way with a successful DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. Once the reducing or enlarging effect is used, this property can't be used again for 24 hours.
you either cheated or didn't read the description of the item you were using.
