    If you say "Bock" loudly, like "Baaahhhk", you kind of sound like a goat.

    Is Bock the German word for goat? I don't know.

    Is Tia Carrere Chinese, Mexican, Japanese, Hawaiian, white, black, or what?

    I mean, in the past two days, I've seen/heard her in at least three movies/animated features, in which she was one, the other, or the other other, and now I'm all kinds of confused.

    I think you hit the nail on the head right there. Her classification is "ethnic".

    What determines if something is a vegetable or a fruit?

    Fruit = seed(s) on the inside (or at least that's what I was told at some point in my life and I decided to take it as canon). Of course that makes tomatoes, eggplant and peppers "fruits", among others that normally don't get classified that way.

    Ultimately I think it boils down to perception.

    Along with beans, pumpkins, cucumbers, corn (sort of depends if you consider the shuck enough of a covering), peas...

    Second bonus EDIT question: Why does water expand when frozen and become less dense?

    Yup, and strawberries are vegetables because the seeds are on the outside. Veggies mostly = tubers, roots, stems and leaves.

    Fruits=Angiosperms

    Angiosperms are flowering plants. Therefore any inseminated flower production is a fruit. Tomatoes, beans, corn, pumpkins, et al.

    A creative answer, but not the correct one. I googled it and was somewhat surprised by the answer.

    edit: BTW, there's some great vintage Bock Beer art out there. My avatar is a new retro rendition of said form.

    I don't know the origin of the name "Bock" but I do know that tradition holds that it was consumed by German monks during their winter fasts, as a kind of "liquid bread" because of the amount of the grain and such used to make it.

    It has something to do with changing from one type of molecular structure to another, and the electrical charges in the molecules. I don't recall the exact details, but it's something along those lines.

    The way in which the molecular structure crystallizes is pretty rare. It is one of a very short list (and the only one I can remember) of materials which expands when it freezes.
