Traci Lords is... THE PRINCESS OF MARS!

I didn't saw anyone posting this but I wasn't on the net throughout the last week. Anyways:

I don't know, I think they nailed the Burroughs' novel pretty well, with the male nudity (dudity) and over-the-top jumping.

Well, Traci Lords ... Nah, too easy.

Traci Lords used to give me boners. Now she's old, saggy and fugly.

Given your concern for age appropriate desires in the Twilight thread, I wonder how old Traci Lords was when she gave you boners.
    I like hats.

I became aware of her after her porn career had gone fizzle due to her being 16, so she was at least 18 by then.

My boners are 100% legally certified.

Wow. I just saw this today.

Uh. Wow. I have to salute that they got it done, and the monster effect shot wasn't too bad. Obviously the Martians are kind of a disaster, and there's reason to think from this that the director is completely incompetent, and that, uh, maybe the acting will fall a little short, but they got it done and good for them. I hope they make tons of money off it. I know I'll go see it if it gets any sort of release.

Looks like it's available on December 29th - hm, I may have to order it...

I wasn't familiar with them before I went to their website just now. Ha, I'm loving their movies that aren't at ALL derivative of other movies. Thrill to the giant robot action of "Transmorphers"! Can you imagine being trapped with a bunch of "Snakes On A Train"? An alien hunter pursues an alien to Earth in "AVH:Alien Vs. Hunter"! Doesn't Allan Quatermain look dashing yet oddly familiar in his battered leather jacket, fedora, and whip? Can you unravel the mysteries of "The Da Vinci Treasure"? (Which, by the way, features Lance Henriksen, who I suspect appears in a LOT of Asylum's films.)

Don't forget "Megafault" and "Supernova 2012." Take your pic which of the two is closer to 2012.

Also, they've got a Sherlock Holmes movie coming out "soon." Their War of the Worlds with C. Thomas Howell actually wasn't that bad (in a lot of ways, it was better than the Cruise/Spielberg vehicle with the same name that came out at the same time.) Plus, I kinda admire the chutzpah of these guys to make these copycat movies and throw them out on DVD right in time to coincide with major theatrical releases.

As Jabba the Hutt says, "they're my kind of scum."

I heard about Asylum movies from a friend of mine a year ago: he's such a geek when it comes to bad movies that he even puts me in shame. I never watched any of them but I love the way they simply copy better known big budget titles. They sound almost as entertaining as those porn versions of famous movies with a slight pun in title to make them sound dirty.
