    I have a couple of this guy's cd's, he's been a music GOH at a couple cons. Really nice guy. He's also done a parody of "Come Together" based on lolcats called "LOL Together", as well as other geeky filk stuff.

    News I bring;
    Bells the stag, winter snow
    Summer is past
    Wind high and cold
    Low the sun, short its course
    Seas run strong;
    The russet bracken its shape is lost
    Wild goose raises wanton cry
    Cold lays hold on wings of bird
    Time of ice
    This I heard.

    Can't get enough of this arrangement; these guys from the republic of Georgia do amazing polyphony.

    One of my fave tracks, perfectly in time for Spring. The guy's birch-tree makeup is awesome.

    Video may be mildly NSFW (sorta nekkid blonde dancing in a wheatfield).

    Good stuff for fans of Tolkien's songs, I like a lot of the other stuff Clamavi de Profundis has done.

    Niamh Parsons, whose voice I absolutely adore, does the best rendition I've ever heard of this song. Still trying to figure out what key she's in.

    Worth it for the horn section, alone.

    Amaranthe

    Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

    I is before E except after C, then it's chaos man, mass chaos! Letters coming together into words, but then you go English and they put U's in places that just shouldn't go there... AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

    My sanity left town along time ago and didn't leave a forwarding address. It's not missed.

    Was intrigued to find this acoustic version of my fave Decemberists song (though it's 3 parts), as I've wondered what it would sound like stripped-down. I'm of the opinion that it would be impossible to do it a capella (at least with one voice) since it changes so much in rhythm and melody, which sucks because I'd love to hear/sing such an awesome faery story around a campfire or in a bardic circle.

    This really lets Colin's vocal talents shine, although I think the guitar is a little crappy-sounding, looks like that one has seen some years.

    Nightly Business Report.

    I liked the earlier theme tune better.
