    Atlantis. Duh.
"I'll tell you something," he said, as if he had said nothing that day. "You're walking on gallows ground, and there's a rope around your neck and a raven-bird on each shoulder waiting for your eyes, and the gallows tree has deep roots, for it stretches from heaven to hell, and our world is only the branch from which the rope is swinging."

One of the Caribbean island nations, I forget which one. But with all due respect to the calendar publisher, it's a trident head, not a broken trident. Just as an unattached spear/arrow head is not a broken spear/arrow.

I looked it up, and the flag is literally called the Broken Trident.

I have no idea. I just remember that there are sculptural groups on the Erechtheon in Athens showing the contest between Athena and Poseidon for the patronage of Athens.

So, given the trident was borne by Poseidon, I figured it would be some place that preferred Athena. But that probably has nothing at all to do with the flag in question. Maybe somewhere surrounded by water, as suggested above.

Barbados. The trident is a reference to Neptune, the mythological god of the sea, and it is broken to symbolize Barbados’ break from Britain and subsequent independence.
