Dark the stars and dark the moon
Hush the night and the morning loon
Tell the horses and beat on your drum
Gone their master, gone their son.

Dark the oceans, dark the sky
Hush the whales and the ocean tide

It gets even worse in an office setting. I work with a group of all girls. We've known and worked with each other for years. So we absolutely know which buttons to push. So yeah...
Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

I is before E except after C, then it's chaos man, mass chaos! Letters coming together into words, but then you go English and they put U's in places that just shouldn't go there... AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

My sanity left town along time ago and didn't leave a forwarding address. It's not missed.

I kept waiting for that to be the happy ending, like in this one (if you stop it at 1:20):

Yes. They can jump like little face-biting spring-loaded armored killers. That's a snapping turtle for you, one of nature's many of "Fuck With Me And Lose Body Parts" beasties.

Normally they aren't particularly aggressive (aside from being omnivores*), but this one was clearly pushed to the line.

    * They are primarily scavengers and plant-eaters, but are known to hunt prey like frogs, fish, unwary birds, small mammals getting a drink, snakes, adolescent crocodiles, other turtles...

I hear they get big, too. What little I've seen of them depicted, I always figured "Whomever came up with the Dragon Turtle for the Monstrous Manual, that had to be their inspiration."

That would be the common snapping turtle's "even more dinosaur-like" cousin the alligator snapping turtle, which can easily top 300 pounds...

Here 'Raphael', an old alligator snapping turtle scares away an 8 foot alligator from it's favorite snacking spot:

Oh, yeah. Yikes. I hadn't realized there were different species of snappers.

We don't get many of that sort of critter all the way up here in Winterfell.

Yeh aren't safe near the water...

Just look at them eyes, they say "I survived the last ice age, yer puny winter ain't nothin!"

Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre completes successful ice rescue
    (of a snapping turtle)

A huge alligator snapping turtle swimming under a frozen Arkansas lake...

"Jonathan Evins estimates the turtle to be at 2.5 to 3 feet long. He says he was in the picture with the turtle because he was the lightest one in his group and was pretty confident the ice would hold him (but kept his fingers crossed just in case).

"That thing could bite my leg off if it wanted to!," he said."

He's probably lucky it wasn't in the mood for white meat...

Any critter can be dangerous if you screw with them. Snappers though.. Only idiots mess with them.
