    reveal's Daily Trivia 10.25.18

What got its name first - the color orange or the fruit orange? Answered

The fruit – references to the fruit being called an “orange” in manuscripts date back to the 13th century, whereas references to the color’s name weren’t seen for another 300 years.

The fruit. (we have a 50/50 chance of being right, eh?)

p.s. A better question would be: how in the name of all that is holy did this show get on the Sat. morning children's tv line up?
