Nothing about the left is actually tolerant or accepting of corruption, immorality, or authoritarianism; once you've slipped into those areas, you've left behind all leftist values.

Whereas right-wingers advocate pretty much every corrupt, immoral and authoritarian thing as their core values. Then again, you'd actually have to understand political factionalism throughout history to the modern day in order to know more than an idiotic gamergating, sexist, racist, cunt.

Ah, so as I said above, you're okay with violence so long as it's against people who morally offend you. I applaud that you finally admitted it.

Which is every lefty that has ever gained power.

Explain all the rampant love for Nicolás Maduro from the left? He's starving his country to death, yet because he's a lefty who rose to power and continues socialism (and is corrupt as fuck) he's loved by leftists all around.

Just admit it, the left is as corrupt as the right, you know this to be true.
    I wouldn't even censor you.

Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

I is before E except after C, then it's chaos man, mass chaos! Letters coming together into words, but then you go English and they put U's in places that just shouldn't go there... AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

My sanity left town along time ago and didn't leave a forwarding address. It's not missed.

At least Obama wasn't a fucking moron who regularly supports abusers, pimps and pedophiles and acted like a president, unlike the douchebag we have in office now.

As an aside - Stalin's personal letters actually show him believing the propaganda. Stephen Kotkin's argument in his Stalin biography show that collectivization was a necessary evil in Stalin's understanding of the Marxist progression. Likewise the purges occurred in part because Stalin felt that socialism required time to percolate before real communism could take hold.

In Stalin's case, at least, his personal letters seem to show him just as concerned with his place in history (as in "what will history make of me if I fail to bring about the communism paradise") as his personal power.

Back to fighting. Your attempt to bid libertarians (who vote red) and authoritarians (who vote red) together is laughable. It also completely ignores that the people who Trump counts as a base are made up partially of the religious right and partially of ex or would-be union members (who voted blue as long as the union bosses told them to). Also, while you've conveniently given the left a No True Scotsman out, you're implicitly denying one to the right. As a person who's conservative (but not a Conservative) I find that idea repugnant.

I just wish the Dixiecrats would go back where they came from.

It's not in response to "right attacks left"...it's just new posts on this topic of political violence which is in the theme of a US civil war. Can you deal with that? Or did you really think, "If I mention civil war, then nobody is allowed to talk about the left attacking the right ever again" or some stupid shit like that?

That's not what whataboutism means. I am not accusing anyone of being a hypocrite - I am documenting, as it happens, acts of violence over politics. And you are apparently so uncomfortable that the left is doing it that you'd make such a silly erroneous response like, "whataboutism" in an attempt to not have to talk about it.

    How sad.

Tell me honestly Spoony, why DON'T you want to talk about violence from leftists directed at rightists right now? Why does that make you so uncomfortable that you want to change the subject to me?

I usually don't click on your links for obvious reasons. Still the right indulges in the same tactics. Doesn't make it a good thing, but both sides do it. Painting one side as more evil than the other for doing it when the other side does it too is rather hypocritical.

Nazis and white nationalists still are scum and Trump supporters are still douchebag idiots though.

You don't want to deal with the cognitive dissonance that what you imagine to be true doesn't match reality?

Still the right indulges in the same tactics.
And that, Spoony, is how you do a whataboutism.

What have I said which could even vaguely imply anything like that though? You can't infer that from your own bias about what you think about me and then claim that's what I said when I quite clearly have not.

Sweetie, you're linking to Breibart. Wikipedia is a legit site for the most part, but in no way is Breibart legit. You can do better than that. Next you'll be citing Infowarz.

Ayer's shit was mostly in the 60's from what the article says and that's ancient news in political time, hell it was before I was born! Wright is a racist douche and Obama did step away from him apparently at least he stepped away from the man's comments. The rest? Breibart. Enough said.

I'd break the server listing Trump's many questionable friends and business associates.

Unlikely. But it would be interesting to see try to do your own research and thinking for once. Regardless, I thought we were condemning people based on their associations and thus making allowance for the eventual violence to be done them?

Or is it still only okay when you do it?

No it isn't. A whataboutism also requires the dismissal of the wrongdoing of your side since the other side also does it. If you are just pointing out the hypocrisy of both sides and acknowledging the wrongdoing of your side, it's not a whataboutism.
