Mass murder, I would agree. Occasional murder, no. Perfectly sane people might occasionally murder, depending on the circumstance. I'm reminded of an anthropological study I was reading years back about an anthropologist who was studying Inuit culture in the Arctic. He was asking them questions about different situations, and sometimes it comes up that one person is violating the social norms of sharing resources (especially food) with all members of the tribe by taking more than his share or hoarding food. This can seriously impact the tribe as a whole, so it's very much a taboo. The anthropologist asked how they dealt with people like that and was horrified at the indifferent nonchalance with which some of the hunters of the tribe mentioned that people like that would go out with a group of hunters and when the timing was right someone would, quite directly, "push him off an iceberg."

I can think of more than a few other circumstances when perfectly sane people would commit murder, honestly.

Florida again. Why is it the crazies flock there?
Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

I is before E except after C, then it's chaos man, mass chaos! Letters coming together into words, but then you go English and they put U's in places that just shouldn't go there... AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

My sanity left town along time ago and didn't leave a forwarding address. It's not missed.

That seems more like an execution than a murder. But okay, there are occasional times when sane people kill. I still think the vast majority of individual murders require some insanity going on, even if it's temporary due to rage or another emotion.

The G in GOP stands for genocide. Republican lawmaker distributes a manifesto for the genocide of all non-Christian males. http://www.thehill.com/homenews/stat...N-BIMTKg82AO547

That's actually the "natural" way to do it. Social species amongst animal punish defection (taking more food, not cooperating etc) very harshly, usually by a quick death.

Humans can do better, but currently we do "better" by allowing some people to grab 90% of everything.
