I unignored Yablo because he responded to my Avengers thread. I had only ignored him because his signature was fucking stupid. I've had to reignore him after reading a few of his posts and realizing he contributes nothing. I have no idea why he's on this forum.

So you like the Pedo white supremacist. Seems to be the CM standard.
Signature too big and pornographic. Next offense will be a ban.

I don't even remember who most of those people are, much less why I plonked them. Yablo I just added. Just remembered the site and came back yesterday and could see he needed to be ignored within just a few minutes.

    Yup. He does indeed.
Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

I is before E except after C, then it's chaos man, mass chaos! Letters coming together into words, but then you go English and they put U's in places that just shouldn't go there... AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

My sanity left town along time ago and didn't leave a forwarding address. It's not missed.

Then again, does anything happen here anymore? Taberna looks like it's nothing more than reveal's daily trivia.

Well, after leaving, did you expect it would all stay the same? Facebook pretty much killed this kind of social forum.

Maybe you should start a war against the new social media gods.

Facebook's not the same. Plus, Facebook sucks, and it sucks more and more every day. I deactivated my account months ago and haven't missed it in the least.

Doesn't really change the fact that Facebook has largely killed social forums. I'm not on Facebook, either, but Miss Priss is and she keeps up with many of the old gang there.

I'm sure you're right, but it's, at best, very unfortunate. Even before I decided that Facebook was a cancer on all of human life, I remember when there was a minor diaspora from here to Facebook. I found it odd, though—without the focus of being primarily a hobby-related discussion, I realized that I didn't have much in common with many of the board members, and no context to appreciate this Brave New World of here's the 49th picture this week of my cat, or whatever. I can tolerate a bazillion pics of the kids of my long-time friends, or my nieces and nephews, etc., but people that I only knew from online and maybe a GenCon or Gameday event or two? It was weird. I didn't have enough personal context to interact with any of them in that way, so I ended up unfollowing or even simply unfriending them altogether. It was a completely fake and forced kind of non-intimacy, and given that I'm kinda a hyper-independent INTJ and misanthrope who doesn't really like people anyway, I had no use for it.

In fact, that eventually soured most of my entire interaction with the app. It's a thoroughly feminized safe space who's perverted purpose now seems to be to allow psychologically broken narcissists to talk about themselves endlessly and receive plenty of vapid validation from people that they don't really know very well.

But I repeat myself... I already called it feminized.

On the other hand, this type of interaction, with more of a focus on a shared interest and a deliberate standoffish approach when it came to too much personal detail, worked quiet well.

Ironic how you critique safe space and use tge ignore fonction generously. Oblivious idiots will be oblivious.

Aside from molonel and Kzach, everyone on that list is pretty hyper-liberal.

Moly and Kzach are hyper-stupid (I think molonel was more conservative, but dumb, and Kzach used to be very illiberal until the feminism took over his brain).

I'm on a few pretty deliberately illiberal unsafespaces on Facebook, but they skew heavily Libertarian so that probably explains the lack of "safe space" sacrality.

That's probably the explanation then. In general, I find that liberals are 1) incapable of honest discussion, 2) do not have discussions in good faith, 3) immediately revert to emotional tantrums when they don't get what they feel like they are entitled to, including easy wins in every argument, 4) feel an OCD fascist urge to try and force everyone into conformity to their idiotic cult beliefs through social pressure, and 5) aren't nearly as intelligent as they think that they are; they believe that life one standard deviation above the average makes them geniuses instead of midwits incapable of even noticing their flaws. They also tend to be psychologically unstable and broken—more interested in virtue-signaling their in-group alignment to what they believe to be what "everyone believes" (which is largely a delusion enabled by a sympathetic media, academia and crowd-sourced social policing of badwrongthink rather than a reflection of reality; which is why they've been completely unable to accept that they actually lost the 2016 Presidential election) because of their massive insecurity complexes and need to belong.

In other words, classic r-selected loser traits. Herd animal traits. Prey animal traits.

Liberalism is an evolutionary maladaption that can only thrive in times of extreme peace and plenty... although ironically, it also inevitably destroys the sources of that peace and plenty.

So it's no wonder that I'd get fed up with their narcissistic entitlement and just block them after a while.
