When did any of those thing happen? What parallel universe do you live in?

I'm not sure if this is exactly the same. He wasn't President yet, nor did he have all of the additional pressures the job holds. And if he doesn't give, then the public just might. I don't see any of this ending well for the country.

There is a massive difference between campaigning and governing. Trump has yet to discover this, and probably never will.
Trump is just Putin's little bitch.

He's following the same pattern as all the other "Teflon" Presidents before him, who were the same during their elections as well. The "throw everything against the wall and see what sticks" approach doesn't work with those types of Presidents. Focused fire on a handful of key issues does. Trump isn't Carter - he's not vulnerable to the "Complaint of the Day" approach in the eyes of enough Americans, any more than Reagan was. In fact, his popularity will eventually grow if that continues to be the strategy as it will first become noise and then become annoying.

He seems to understand it quite well. Trump and the Republicans have been very active and successful since his inauguration.

Saying he'll trip at some point some point might be a bit of denial on what he is actually doing right now.

Honestly, I'm not sure if there's much that can be predicted about how Trump will react to things.

It doesn't much matter how he reacts though, does it? How he reacts has rarely impacted his "approval" with voters in a net negative manner. The only numbers that seem to go down are those doing the attacking.

Sure, it matters. For example, how will he react if the investigation into voter fraud comes back and says, "uh, there's nothing there," basically saying, "shut up, you're nuts." Will he accept it? Will he ignore it? Will he order the people who did it to pull a Spicer and create a completely falsified report to save his ego?

Answers: Not likely; maybe but probably not; that would probably be an impeachable offense.

So it absolutely matters. Remember the Saturday Night Massacre? I can easily see Trump doing something similar.

He's not insane - he knows exactly what he's doing, and that's far worse.
That's not juvenile and petty. That's dangerous.

Some Presidents are vulnerable to the "throw everything against the wall and see if something sticks approach" and some Presidents are "teflon" in nature and are only vulnerable to focused fire on a handful of key issues of a long period of time. Trump is one of the later...but the Democrats and media have not figured that out yet.
I think there is one difference - he feels hurt by it and will lash out. That doesn't mean it affects his popularity (with the people he is popular with), however, and it was certainly not hurting him for his campaign. I don't know how it will affect politics.

Maybe it has been too long since the last election, but it seems the news (here in Germany!) are very happy to report pretty much everythnig he does. I didn't have the feeling Obama got that much attention after his election. Especially since the phrasing is always very Trump-focused, not "The US does X" but "Trump does X".

I doubt it's really good for productive political discourse.
