Do they have any idea how to handle existing bias, or is it just outlawed?

Begin by defining this 'existing bias' and I'll see what the Manifesto has to say about it...

I haven't listened to the live stream where they came up with this idea yet, but it's on my agenda.

About the only thing you can do is acknowledge it for what it is and make up your own mind if the other fucker is right or wrong.
Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

I is before E except after C, then it's chaos man, mass chaos! Letters coming together into words, but then you go English and they put U's in places that just shouldn't go there... AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

My sanity left town along time ago and didn't leave a forwarding address. It's not missed.

Well, you haven't defined what you mean by 'bias' but I'll take a stab at answering your question regardless:

They don't give a shit. As in, if the 'bias' is actual bias1 which is just a feeling or inclination of thought, a Liberalist won't care because they don't believe in policing 'thought crimes'.

If by 'bias' you mean something like "the current economic environment is biased against [GROUP]" or "Company X has shown a bias against hiring [GROUP] in their hiring practices", they they'll act on their principles and attempt to legislate for fair and equal treatment under the law. But that means actual equal treatment, not some prejudist treatment where one group is promoted over another based solely on skin color, ethnicity, creed, or sex.

Look at it like this, the group calling themselves 'Liberalists' tend to self identify as classical liberals and are rather put off by what the Left in the USA has done to the term liberal. Hence the shift away and the ideal of forming a group that is liberally activist (thus the 'ist' in Liberalist), but has no connection or desire to be connected in any way to the 'Progressives'.

1 - Leaning on the non-action side of the definition of "feeling or inclination' rather than 'acts or trends of prejudice'. As acts of prejudice are actions.

The rules don't go into force into after the elections.

So, no, that's not what happened here.

It kind of is, though. "Your participation is problematic enough that we're going to change the rules so it doesn't happen again."

I wouldn't use 'problematic'... More "Your participation has highlighted flaws in the system and we're fixing them as soon as this election is over."

Also it's a an awful lot more specific than mere "participation". These teens are running for office.

And I agree with the changes, so I'm not seeing a problem.

I don't have a problem with it. They're probably just as mature if not more mature than the idiots currently in office.
